6. Arbitration/conciliation proceedings:

As per Section 191 f Federal Lawyers’ Act, there is an arbitration board (Schlichtungsstelle der Rechtsanwaltschaft, Neue Grünstraße 17/18, D-10179 Berlin) available for disputes between clients and HOTZ. UTZ RECHTSANWÄLTE Partnerschaft mbB. Alternatively, it is also possible to make use of arbitration as per Section 73 II No. 3 Federal Lawyers’ Act at the local bar association (Rechtsanwaltskammer Tübingen, Christophstr. 30, 72072 Tübingen).

On the basis of Section 51 Federal Lawyers’ Act, lawyers are obliged to maintain professional indemnity insurance.
